SOLAR MASON HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY Health and Safety Policy General Purpose Solar Mason LLC the Company recognizes employees as the Company s most valuable asset and acknowledges their health and safety are of vital importance The Company is committed to providing a healthy and safe working environment by reducing potential hazards and risks as long as it is reasonably practicable for our employees Our ultimate aim is to create a healthy and safe working environment that is risk free and free from a workplace injury The objective of this policy is To set out policies and procedures implemented by the Company in creating a healthy and safe working environment To provide guidance for our employees take all reasonable steps to safeguard the safety and health of all employees in the company To provide information to employees of any risks on the Company s premises which they might be exposed to and To comply with all health and safety related legislation enacted in the jurisdiction This policy applies to all levels of employees who are currently under a fixed term contract permanent contract part time contract interns and casual workers We expect our employees of all levels to comply participate and cooperate in their best endeavours This policy is endorsed and fully supported by the Company and its senior management The Company reserves all rights to amend the content of the policy at any time Arrangements and Procedures Health and Safety Training Health and safety training is an integral module of the Company s training session and it will be planned and designed in the same manner as other compulsory modules An induction training session will be held for each and every employee when their employment commences and an annual training session will be held for all employees The content of the health and safety training module should be focused on Ensuring all employees have sufficient knowledge about the usage of safety facilities on the Company s premises
SOLAR MASON HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY Ensuring all employees have sufficient knowledge of the key provision of the relevant safety labour laws in the jurisdiction and this policy Informing and updating all employees regarding their role and responsibilities under this policy and Ensuring all employees have sufficient knowledge regarding the potential risks and hazard that they might come across in the workplace Equipment The Company will provide safety equipment and protective gear such as goggles gloves and helmets for employees of specific roles and under specific requirements by their immediate superior The usage of this safety equipment is compulsory under such situations and requests and employees should ensure they are using the safety equipment in a safe way The Company will not be responsible for any illness and or injuries caused by using safety equipment in the wrong way Appropriate signs will also be placed at dangerous spots on the office premises Directors of each department should consider the quality of the equipment the reputation of the respective brand and the necessity of having such equipment in the Company before making a purchase The Company will conduct quality control and monthly check on such equipment to ensure they are of good quality to prevent hazards or any workplace accidents Employees are expected to report to their respective immediate supervisor and the Department Director promptly shall they discover any malfunctions or defects in the equipment The Company will replace this defective equipment as soon as possible Fire Fire extinguishers and fire alarms are placed on each floor of the Company s premises and they should be maintained and checked regularly Fire drills should be carried out regularly and the procedure should be displayed clearly and easily accessible by each and every employee in every office room All employees are expected to familiarize themselves with the usage of fire extinguishers fire alarms fire escape routes and procedures at all times during their employment Corridors and doorways must be kept free of any large size rubbish to prevent blockage Employees and all visitors of the Company premises are strictly prohibited from smoking and lit up fire at all spots on the Company premises In the event of a fire the employee discovering a fire should sound the nearest fire alarm and all employees should be evacuated to the assembly point immediately All employees should close the doors and windows under safe conditions when they leave the office premises
SOLAR MASON HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY Accident First Aid and Work related Ill Health Employees are advised to wear masks at all times on the office premises Under any circumstances injured or ill employees should report to their immediate superior and the Human Resources Department as soon as possible Please refer to your Employment Contract and the Employees Handbook for details regarding taking sick leave or workinjury related leave First aid boxes with relevant tools are placed on every floor of the Office premises The Company will refill and replace defective tools from time to time There are also certified First Aiders situated in the Office premises and their contact details will be displayed on the Company s public notice board Hygenic Remarks All employees are advised to wear a mask within the office premises Employees should also sanitize their hands before and after they leave an office room and use the washroom Hand sanitisers will be placed on each floor of the Company s premises and they will be refilled from time to time All lift buttons will also be cleaned hourly by our cleaners All employees should avoid handling food as far as possible If in any event where it is necessary for an employee to handle food he she should wash their hands and wear masks and gloves before and during the whole handling process The employee should also ensure they are wearing clean clothing Employees who have symptoms of any sickness must not handle any food Health and Safety Committee An inspection should be conducted by the Health and Safety Committee annually During the annual inspection the Committee Members should conduct risk assessments and assess whether existing precautions are sufficient Each Committee Member should submit a detailed report to the Human Resources Department after the inspection The report will be preserved for future referencing purposes by the Company Committee Members are also responsible for keeping this policy reviewed and updated annually Accident Reporting Procedures We believe the policy will not be effective without the full cooperation of employees Hence we expect our employees of all levels to report all injuries and incidents to their immediate supervisor and the Human Resources Department as soon as possible At the same time employees should call an ambulance if they consider as appropriate After calling an ambulance if appropriate and reporting to relevant superiors employees should submit a detailed report to the Human Resources Department The
